Varun Manian : Entrepreneurial Journey
Varun Manian is the Vice Chairman at NAPC Ltd. Varun Manian has modern thinking towards the traditional construction business in the country. His interpersonal skills along with his international educational experience are a huge advantage in managing national as well as international clients. Mr. Varun Manian is solely responsible for changing the commercial & residential construction industry in the south, where his unique ideas translates into community building, overall environmental awareness and growth. He is one of those entrepreneurs who deserves the much worth mentioning for enlarging and spreading the horizons of the entrepreneurial zone of the country. Today, he is not only the successful entrepreneur but also has started many social activities for the benefits of the society.
Speaking about his personal life journey, Varun Manian, after completing his graduation from New York University, came back to India to join his long run family business. Post gaining complete experience and expertise about the business, he later started his own company; the Radiance Group.
In one of the interviews, Varun Manian said that, “Karl Marx was compulsory reading at school in NYU. I always remember the line — From each according to his ability. To each according to his need. My take from the first sentence is that I have to work to my maximum ability. The second sentence has taught that it is my mission to look after my customers, my business associates, my colleagues and of course to help society in whatever small way I can.”
As a visionary, Varun Manian is working hard towards making an umbrella brand consisting of various facets of home development/improvement. One of the successful company of his Radiance Group is Radiance Realty. It is one of the fastest emerging real estate company in Chennai. Other brands include Radiance Home Solutions, a home interior design company, Radiance Facility Management and Radiance Total Care, a one stop solution place for all your home maintenance.
Varun is extremely keen on sports and has started Radiance Sports with the idea of developing talent from the grass root level. As he says “Our youth are second to none. Given the right facilities, the right training and the right nutrition they will be world beaters.”
Apart from this, Varun Manian is also a sports lover and has started one more company; Radiance Sports, dedicated completely to encourage new talents from the country from the grass root level. He believes that, our youth are as talented as others and by proper guidance and facilities they will surely be able world beaters.
Varun Manian has also recently started the cause “Radiance Genies” to help the needed people. One of the recent example of this initiative could be seen at the Chennai Floods in December 2015. His company not only provided food to over thirty thousand people but also shelter to about 250 families.
