If you have dehydrated pineapple for snacking and plan to eat it within a week or two, you can store it in a sealed container or zip-lock bag on the counter or in your pantry. Just keep them in a sealed container in a cool place. Good enough our pineapple packaging is a zip-bag; it allows you to keep your snacks and eat them at your convenience.

However, when properly dried and stored, dehydrated pineapples can last up to a year. Here are some tips for long-term storage:

· Let the pineapples cool completely before transferring them.

· Placing the dried pineapples in a sealed and transparent container is a flexible plan for the pineapples last that long.

· Check the pineapples daily for a week to check for signs of moisture or condensation, and shake them to help prevent the slices from sticking together.

· If signs of moisture appear, put them back into the dehydrator (as long as there is no mold — in that case, toss the batch). After a week, if there are no signs of moisture or mold, you can package them for long-term storage.

· Use a moisture-absorbing container if you expect to open the container often, or if you live in an area with high humidity.

· Label the container with the date and any other important details

· Place the container in a cool, dark, and dry place — inside of a pantry cabinet works well.
