That does not mean that women can’t get into a STEM field, nor does it mean that women can’t be encouraged to get a STEM field. But trying to shame the person for even broaching the subject matter says much about your own dogmatic beliefs about “gender” and “sex”, than your desire about creating solutions to level the playing field and closing the wage gap.
