The Problem with Design Thinking

Did you see the article Tim Brown wrote recently? His basic argument is that trying design thinking and being good at it are two different things. I think this is a pretty fair point when people start to question whether the approach works. In the same way it wouldn’t be fair for karate kid to loose his first fight and blame karate.

Though I do feel ya. Those feel good innovation workshops can sometimes gloss over the real work required to push the envelope.
