Die in fair democracy and need of lengency
Democracy is a trap, allowing a fair agreement but not focusing on truth and finding the best solution. Democracy is a typical example of barren mountain effect.
Take HK’s public exam HKDSE as an example, only 20% students can get into University. The average students can only get 3 out of 7 in each subject. Suppose HKDSE is politics and let public vote for the answers of the exam. Influenced by different cultures and social background, people hold different opinions even if most of them are wrong. If public take part in exam, democracy is perfectly achieved. But how about the results of the exam? Many people don’t know the pencil falls down at the same speed as the much heavier iron ball. Many people still think 100% purity chemically synthesized medicine is worse than the natural one without knowing the chemistry. The results will be very poor, may not even pass and probably get 2 or 3 out of 7. But if only the top student take the exam, those less intelligent people are ignored hence democracy is harmed. But, since those students are much smarter, they tend to see the truth better and probably get 6 or 7 marks out of 10. Democracy make people indulged in the appearing pleasure of human right and equality but make people blind to see the truth. They can get much more better but didn’t. Hence, democracy is barren. The HKDSE can represent many things, eg politics, public election, even life and death choices affecting the future of human. Democracy make the noise of most ignorant public which has few knowledge but follow the trend cover the weak but true voice made by the few intelligent. The outcome contributed by democracy in ideal situation can meet the requirement of most public and achieve most satisfaction but it is totally fake, to a large extent against the truth. It kill the truth and hinder the human development. It is like drug addiction, people addicted to the drugs will always support the use of drugs due to barren mountain effects like average people without specific knowledge cannot see the truth but believe they are right. According to normal distribution, intelligent people are few in population and professional knowledge are mastered in minority. Hence, most people are ignorant. Like occupying central, most ignorant people don’t know the aim of the movement, don’t know the benefits and drawbacks of the Hong Kong election system. If they don’t know, how can they make the right choice? How can they benefit the political system of Hong Kong.They are barren as in nature democracy is barren. And human society is barren Democracy is one of the phenomenon. Today we can see human is like an ignorant child addicted to a drug caused money or interest. Treat human race as an individual, you can see arms are fighting with legs caused by the drug called money or interest. The human society individual are so addicted to this drug that even he know his deteriorating health (the destroyed environment, global warming , extreme weather), even close to death, but still refuse to change immediately to stop the drug addition then repair the health. This may out of this topic of democracy but shows how close and dangerous is barren ridge effect to the whole human society.
The root cause of democracy is ignorance. Ignorance here is a certain extent of lack of knowledge. As in fact, everyone is ignorant since they don’t know everything. People want to make themselves important and want to voice their opinions. Many of them don’t know the whole situation. Ignorance make people not see the whole picture of human society and be greed to only care for themselves. Some people want to strengthen their stance even not necessary, eg should give up their stance for the whole picture but not. Some people are just lack of knowledge but believe they are right. Also due to the force of the public stance or the intense responses of the some people, the leading organization adopt the stance by the most powerful group even not true, The leading organization rule by democracy to strengthen their stance as if not, the most powerful group getting their opinion denied are not satisfied in many case they are the public , and they may threaten the status of the ruler. Democracy is a political tool to win the support of the public.Hence, barren democracy occur. Gun control in USA is another example. People have different stances as they consider their interest. Some citizens don’t want to get shot while others prefer to defend themselves with the guns. And for those companies that make guns and develop the weapons, they are against gun control otherwise they have no business and money. Hence, most people think their own interest instead of that of the whole society. Allowing those people to take part in politics will hinder the development.
To avoid the barren ridge effect by democracy, the power of non-government group should be limited. The power should be totally controlled by the government and the government should have the absolute control over the control and make final decision. The government should be organized by intelligent people who are capable of ruling. The interest of the government is always for the overall benefit of the society. Such a government is called a lengend government. The state of a lengend government is called lengency. Lengend government should not barren.
