Updates from DNC Winter Meeting in Atlanta
Jason Rae

Hello Jason:

“If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me”

My concern: I want to know which DNC members voted for which candidates for chair, yet you have gone out of your way not to post that count online. If I want to know what Republican voted for what bill — no problem. If I wanted to know what a member of my own party stands for, sorry, no dice.

That’s the opposite of transparent and an embarrassment. If we want to hold our elected officials accountable, we have to be the change we want to see.

Post the damn vote count. If people are ashamed of their votes, or worried about the consequences of making their votes public, then they shouldn’t have the position they do — representing the party rank and file.
