AE Current web site feedback
To help understand how the current users of AE feel about their current website a survey was conducted to establish what features they like and dislike about it.
They were asked the following questions:
1. How engaging is the website design?
2. After reviewing the design above, how likely are you to explore the website?
3. How would you rate the quality of this website?
4. What do you like most about this website?
5. What do you dislike most about the website?
6. What would make you more likely to use this website?
7. Does the website appear easy to navigate?
Below is an overview of the results received
The results for this question are evenly split. This suggests that the site is not that interesting. It fulfils some basic function that some users find interesting but the majority are not that bothered by the site. This shows that significant improvement could be made in this area.
The graph in Figure 2, above, shows that the current design is like “Marmite: Love it or hate it”. Some people like the design and some don’t. This shows that there are elements of the design that good and should be considered to kept for next design.
This is the most surprising result. Figure 3 shows that all the majority of people surveyed felt that the current website is of high quality. This will prove a more challenging area to improve upon.
Figure 4 shows that that many people like the main image on the home page and the easy to use drop menu.
The question shown here in figure 5 shows that many people disliked the colour scheme currently in place. They would like to see brighter colours. One person found that the page loading time was slow. This could have been because they viewed it on a mobile device.
The results from Figure 6 show that in addition to the previous comments about the design they feel it is important to display jobs that are within there local area.
Finally, Figure 7 shows that people found the current navigation to be aqueduct.
