Decapitating Consciousness
Robert Epstein

Good lord, you've sent some cats in among the pigeon-chested I see..

I totally agree with the article, and it’s a shame it had to be so long a read, and yet still could not get through the skulls of those that seem to need it the most.

The study of those with brain injury or disease provides absolute compelling proof. The brain is an electronic machine, for want of a better expression. Remove some parts and some parts of “the personality” and “consciousness” are no longer there. That people can be shown that and yet continue to argue that consciousness is something more than the workings of the brain and nervous system doesn’t defeat the argument, it just highlights how we’re nothing like as smart as we like to think we are.

We have such big egos at stake we’ve create an entirely new entity to worship.
