The Erasure of the American-Jewish Left

Great piece. I would also talk about the long tradition of radical Jews in Eastern Europe, and how they maintained a dialogue with their counterparts in America. This was the case specially at the beginning of the 20th century and through the Yiddish-Speaking world. That is why they were accused of Bolshevism. This sense of simultaneity with Eastern European thought was erased after WWII. (Book: “The Pity of it All”, Elon)
