Risk Aversion exists — it’s an important element of evolution (e.g. unknown rustles in the bushes scare us). It just doesn’t happen in a vacuum, as is studied in an environment-free lab.

Rather it’s our ability to execute tradeoffs to *overcome* risk aversion that enables us to be anti-fragile (or maybe robust).
