This is so unfair to our generation. Take me for example, I learned English which isn’t my native language to get IELTS 7.0 overall and I was a successful real estate agent who made above average salary in Taiwan. When I wanted to transit my job to be a software developer, nobody is willing to hire. I think employers now just want junior developers to have a better coding skill set than 25 years ago, the same goes to most of the professions. I hate people always say “oh this generation is so lazy and they can’t do anything…” it’s simply biased.
