Thank you for writing this. I wish more people would take the time to try and understand this issue. I am currently pursuing a degree in mental health and I see how my fellow students react to pedophiles and openly state that they will not work with them, and (to me) this is something that needs to be understood and we cannot hope to help people with this issue unless we are willing to work with them and listen to what they have to say without labeling them as “monsters”.
