How Israeli and Palestinian startup community leaders collaborated to get Dave McClure into and out of Gaza today…

Dave McClure has been in Israel this last week to celebrate the opening of 500 Startups‘ newest outpost here.

Along the way, Dave made it into and out of Gaza today to visit startups from Gaza Sky Geeks and Startup Grind Gaza.

Gaza. Yes. Gaza.

Even when Dave was there, the world was supporting and cheering him on via Twitter….

In the world of startups, the political and religious stuff goes away.

While I don’t know the details of the whole adventure, if you follow Dave’s stream on Twitter, you will see from the screen shots in this story.

It took both sides working together to get him into and out of Gaza.

I am not here to politicize anything.

I am just trying to share a moment in time when magic and goodness prevails….
