Considering the 9.7” iPad Pro…

I have a MacBook Pro 15” Retina, which is a powerful workhorse that goes with me everywhere.

While I mostly write, I also use it for editing photos and video, and of course, general use things like surfing and conversing with friends on various social networks.

I am thinking of getting the iPad Pro 9.7" simply because of the pencil.

Yes, $800 — pencil and keyboard included — to take notes, scribble, take a stab at simple drawing, and once in a while use it as a “computer” when I don’t need to carry the MacBook.

I am also thinking that using the pen will help me change the way I work, stay more organized, and do new things in applications like Evernote to help me connect more dots that still tend to be like disparate ideas that come into and out my mind while I am awake.

I am curious if any of you have bought the iPad PRO 9.7 for a specific purpose, and how the pen has changed the way you work, think, or get things done.

Yes, I have 14 days to return the device, but before I go down that path, I thought I would reach out here on Medium, and see who might be willing to share their user experience to date.

Thank you for reading.
