To add only that it is even worse than anyone can describe. All the way from Wall Street to people dying miserably on the streets, Black people are at the intersection of multiple injustices, and there are other groups who in various ways find themselves in places where they are excluded from getting any hand hold on the mountain of human existence and so slide down until there is nothing but complete freefall. It is worse because the instant we attain a hold and pull ourselves up we are complicit in the oppression of those we climb over. And worse because this system we support provides no end of facilities to our self delusion that this is the only way we can organise the human world. And it provides no end of methods that distract from if not outright criminalise oppressed groups from organising and self-supporting their members. There I something outright demonic that is worse than any single Wall Street fraudster, politician, or right wing chief of police, so demonic that it can even enlist the oppressed to accept their own suffering is somehow justified. I want no part in it but every coin in my pocket is stained with someone’s blood. I must wear hypocrisy and self-loathing just to eat
