The most effective internal variable that affect SEO (search engine optimization).


before we start discussing the variables in details, we should mention the internal variables that affect SEO

1- content

2- HTML and meta information

3- Architecture

- content :

it must be a positive content that keeps the reader engaged, and the component of the positive content should be as follows:

  • quality of the content : which means how detailed the content is, length article, headings and sub-headings and spelling and grammatical errors.
  • research: you have to make researches about what key words you will focus on by using some of tools for finding most trended key words.
  • keywords: here is not meant that to find the trended keywords, but using those keywords that you have collected as a guide to steer your content.
  • engagement: SEO looks at the average time spent on webpage, How many people bounced from the page without clicking on anything in the page, and Returning visitors to your website.
  • freshness: try to chose trended stories.

- negative content:

  • Shallow content: SEO will recognize small content and not an in-depth type content.
  • Ads: when your page contain a lot and a lot of ads that covers your top page to trick users. that would affect SEO negatively.

- HTML and meta information

A positive component of html and META information:

  • Page title tags: make sure that keywords you have collected are included in the title of the page its self, in other words let the customer see their key words in the title tags. and also make sure that the titles are related to the content details.
  • Structured data: is a way of letting search engines know in a very systematic way what content on your page is all about.

- Negative html and Meta information:

  • Key words stuffing: if key words are used with an unreasonable number of times, and if your site contains an unnaturally high density of one single keywords.
  • Hidden keywords: putting keywords that don’t match with the content and that’s for ex. By changing the text to white on a page that has a white background, so that human beings don’t see the text but the search engines do.

- Architecture:

Positive architecture

  • duplicated content: we have to reduce duplicated content
  • Site speed : high load quality, high speed
  • URL’s : no long URL , URL is descriptive to the particular keywords
