Wonderful article, Kevin! Excited to jump into the readings you cited at the end.

One thing that I was curious about was how we can adapt these models to design for behavioral changes that often occur in stages. I could imagine certain behavioral changes (e.g., maintaining an exercise regime versus just starting) are more anxiety inducing because users are not fully committed or ready or fear failure because of past relapses.
