Artificial Intelligence — What do we expect?

Hello world!

Are you all right?

Today we are going to talk about artificial intelligence, how it came about, what it is for and much more.

but before the speech begins, do you know how it came about? or wax that artificial intelligence will dominate the world as we see in fiction films?

We will answer these and other questions that have arisen.

When did artificial intelligence appear?

Artificial intelligence, or in simpler terms AI, harms systems or machines that imitate human intelligence to perform tasks. It can be changed and improved based on the information collected.

Since the 1940s, artificial intelligence was already outlined as an attempt to create functionalities for computers. It was also at this time that the Second World War began, which saw the impetus of research with the aim of developing weapons and war technology.

But this technology had its conceptual definition in the year 1950. At University of Carnegie Mellon (Private university of teaching and research, located in the city of Pittsburgh, in the state of Pennsylvania in the ** USA).** Creating at this university the first laboratory dedicated to artificial intelligence.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the ability of electronic devices to function in a way that resembles human thinking. This implies understanding variables, making decisions and solving problems. Finally, artificial intelligence is developed so that the devices created by us humans can perform a certain function without our interference.

How does artificial intelligence work?

Well, you must have heard a lot about hardware and software, right? But do you know what these terms mean?

While the hardware is the physical part of a machine, the Software is the logical part, or the “Brain”. Where you could say it is is artificial intelligence (AI), of course in the software, right.

So if you want to know how a self-driving car walks by itself, it’s the software that does all the processing so it can walk the streets. That it uses the algorithms, which are a sequence of instructions that guide the operation of the software, which in turn can make the hardware move.

What is the main purpose of artificial intelligence?

The main objective of artificial intelligence is the development of technology that has the ability to simulate human actions and to think logically. With this to create solutions for the most varied aspects.

Examples of application of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence is no longer something of the future, but it is already among us and is already applied in several segments.

Industry: Automation in industry has been used for a long time. With artificial intelligence, there are equipment that manufacture and check products without needing to be operated by a human.

Autonomous Cars: Uber, Google and Tesla are some of the companies that develop autonomous cars, which do not need a driver to drive them.

Online retail: Online store algorithms recognize users’ shopping patterns and suggest offers according to their preferences.

Social networks and applications: Recognition of photos, identification of objects and situations, thematic reproduction of videos, simultaneous translation are some of the contributions of artificial intelligence in social networks.

This would be a little of what artificial intelligence can do, there is much more, after all, it has been developing every day, but and but.

I recently heard a case from a Google engineer. Who said that the artificial intelligence that google is creating has taken on a life of its own, and to other cases that have already emerged in the course of the history of technology.

Of course, artificial intelligence can help us a lot in many ways, but what if it can one day revolt against human beings?

I can’t say what the future holds for us, but we’ve already seen what’s been happening in several fiction films, and in books.

And what do you have to say about this?

What can we do if this really happens?

These are these and other questions that may arise over the years.

But leave in the comments what you think of this article, let’s chat about artificial intelligence. If you liked it, comment, share and like it too.

A big hug, See you soon!
