Just reading it for framing, I am struck by the similarity to Fourierism. Framed in this fashion it would likely suffer the same fate. It is very mechanistic — a logos approach (understandable for this audience). IMHO culture change only succeeds when approached from eros. Fourier (1772–1837) attempted to reconcile science, art and religion but real world Fourierists, pushing their ancient desert-based religion, found it tough sledding. History is culture lab too.
