What I understood from Brian Robertson videos and HolacracyOne documents (I’ve not purchased the book yet) is that Holacracy ‘Constitution' is the ultimate empowered document about corporate governance, a participatory democratic tool to rule culture, decisions, processes, roles, tasks and all participants, by the hand of the same participants; so a CEO pushing this system over his staff sounds like a paradox to me. Maybe ‘elections' have more sense in this case.

One of my first thoughts / speculations about Holacracy — that suits the subject of your article, is that it won’t fit for everyone now. Holacracy is a new corporate ‘culture' and as such, certain (say selfless) mindsets, attitudes and behaviors will fit more than others.
