Workarounds to Suunto’s Sync issues

I recently ran a 100km race in the Alps, a total of 19 hours. And as you’d expect the first thing I tried to do after taking a shower and changing my dirty clothes was to sync the activity using MovesCount android app. Apparently, the move was too big to be synced using the android app (honestly, I’m surprised to hear this from MovesCount support team). But this led to the app endlessly crashing, I tried to re-install the app, re-pair the watch and sync again, only to find that the app can’t detect any new moves! How frustrating!
