$ALDEA: Tokenomics

In this recent article, we introduced $ALDEA and explained why it is important to have a governance token for our DAO. Below, we provide more details about Tokenomics.

Tokenomics

$ALDEA will have 650M tokens, one for each inhabitant of Latin America, which will be distributed as follows:

Each of these allocations was analyzed in detail since their main objective is to align all the actors of the ALDEA ecosystem to achieve the sustainability of our project in the long term.

Treasury — 50%

One of the main objectives of ALDEA has always been the generation of a community Treasury, which can be managed by the members of our DAO.

That is why 50% of the $ALDEA tokens will remain in our Multisig Treasury, guarded by our SPOs, to be managed by the community through our governance system.

LP + Staking — 15%

We will use this allocation to provide liquidity in Cardano DEXes and to incentivize those who want to provide liquidity in ALDEA pools.

One of the options that we are analyzing is the possibility of launching our token in Minswap.

In addition, we will also have a staking system that will be fed from this 15%.

SPOs — 10%

At ALDEA we have always contributed to the empowerment of our SPOs. This is why 10% of the tokens will be reserved for them. We will use a 3-year vesting system to deliver the tokens to our SPOs.

Stake Pools that are not yet part of ALDEA will have time to join our SPO community until Friday 10/21/2022, in case they wish to have exposure to this allocation.

ALDEA Future ISPO — 5%

On the other hand, 5% of the tokens will be reserved for a future ISPO that will be held in mid-2023 with all ALDEA Member Stake Pools.

The main objectives of this ISPO will be:

1. Promote ALDEA project
2. Encourage delegation to pools in our community

Grants — 5%

This allocation will be 5% of the tokens and will allow our Core Team to carry out various Partnerships with other projects that want to help us grow our ecosystem.

LATAM Community Projects — 5%

Cardano projects that feel aligned with the vision, the mission and the values of ALDEA will be able to register to claim $ALDEA tokens.

The idea of this allocation is to reward those who are already working with their communities to promote the values of Cardano.

5% will be shared between:

• NFT Collections
• Wallets
• Marketplaces
• DEXes
• DAO’s
• YouTube channels
• Podcasts
• And more…

We will start this process in February 2023.

Delegators — 2.5%

Delegators in Cardano Stake Pools will be able to claim $ALDEA tokens in a one-time event and regardless of the amount of ADA they delegate, between October and November 2022.

A total of 16,250,000 $ALDEA will be divided between:

• ALDEA Stake Pools: 60% — 9,750,000 $ALDEA

• Other Stake Pools: 10% — 1,625,000 $ALDEA

Stake Pools that are not yet part of ALDEA will have time to join our SPO community until Friday 10/21/2022, in case they wish their delegates to have greater exposure to the $ALDEA token.

Devs + Core Contributors — 2.5%

Lead developers of our project as well as key participants in initiatives such as ALDEA WIKI, ALDEA Catalyst and ALDEA Grow will be rewarded with $ALDEA tokens.

Iteration 0–1.5%

ALDEA is already on the road to decentralization. That is why, just like the Team, Iteration 0 participants will also receive 1.5% of governance tokens.

This will be the only allocation that will be distributed through an “airdrop”.

We will share news about this process very soon.

Cardano Community— 1%

We will allocate 1% of the tokens to any Cardano user who wants to claim $ALDEA.

To encourage decentralization and so more people have access to our token, we will use distribution systems such as SmartClaimz or TosiDrop.

Advisors — 0.5%

0.5% of the tokens will be reserved for Advisors in Marketing, Communication, Community Growth, Finance, Tokenomics and Corporate Law.

This allocation will also be granted with a 3-year vesting scheme.

Latin Projects & Communities from Other Blockchains — 0.5%

There will be an allocation of 0.5% of the tokens so that projects and communities in other blockchains can claim $ALDEA.

We will be in charge of helping these users with the “onboarding” in Cardano so that they can access our token.
