The Pros and Cons of Freelancing

The freelance industry has changed tremendously over the years. With the ever evolving advancement of technology including social media, quick research data programs to support ideas and potential future activations the opportunities for freelancers are far and few in between.

But when an individual does get the opportunity to connect with an agency or brand to assist them in bringing their vision to life it becomes bigger than any monetary value. It becomes 100% about the BIG PICTURE. Which is to WIN NEW BUSINESS or activate a unique program that would not have not yielded the same results if not for that unique freelancer.

And beyond scope of work you actually get so engrained with the mission you build life long professional relationships based off on shared values through creativity.

The only con to freelancing is that you are not a permanent fixture within that system which won’t qualify you for full-time health benefits….lol and you will miss the agency snack-bar with unlimited sugar fueled treats to keep your energy flowing well past the intended eighth hour shift.
