Something that has always made me feel safe is the sound of running water. The subtle trickling sound is comforting to me.
The oldest thing I could think of was the St. Joan of Arc Chapel. Being near it the chapel fills me with historical appreciation.
The newest thing I could find was fresh rain drops preparing to fall from this branch.
The walk signal was what inspired me. It makes me feel like I can complete any obstacle. I just need to be patient.
I’ve had a fear of squirrels ever since I was a little kid. The nightmares I used to have were so intense that I remember all of them in vivid detail.
I chose these clouds to represent my dreams because they are ever changing. I still don’t know exactly what I want to do one day, but eventually I’ll get to where I want to be.
Trying to muster up the courage to ask someone to be the focus of my picture took a total of ten minutes. Finally I found the most non-thretening looking person and she was great. Her name is Ranae and her day was made by the stranger who asked for her picture.
I thought these flowers were perfect to be the “something beautiful”. Not one of these flowers look exactly like the others. They are all the same flower, but they are all unique. I think that’s beautiful.
At this point I was starting to get frustrated trying to find things to photograph. As I sat down to rest, I looked down and this is what I saw. Something I have never noticed before.
This statue is what I see when I study, but I only see it from the opposite side. I thought I’d get a better look at what this statue actually looked like behind those plants.
This is the place that reminds me of home. The people here are kind, wild, and just comforting people. The feeling get from this single room is just pure serenity.
This is a close-up of fresh rain on an abandoned spider web. I thought that the rain alone was beautiful but the spider web just enhanced that beauty.

A hand on a two different textured concrete wall came out to be a very powerful photo. A hand that belongs to a person who has faced many hardships may seem like just the average hand, until you know what they have felt.
I learned that each path has a different lesson to be learned. Some may be clearer than others, but they are there. The light post symbolizes that lesson, and the fact that the light is not yet on just shows that its lesson isnt as clear.
After 60 seconds without distractions, this is the outcome. I noticed I paid more attention to detail when taking this symmetrical photo.
My future is bright. I may just be able to see where I am going, but as long as I stay on the path I chose I will succeed.
