And tell me, what was the Red Sox issue when they got swept by Cleveland? Pitching?? No, sorry, it was their hitting. You can say this makes them prohibitive favorites to win the American League, which, just judging by names on the roster, it probably does, but it doesn’t cover for the fact that they couldn’t hit a single Cleveland pitcher in that series. Take a look at what that order did against CLE and you’ll find their problem. If they can’t hit, they still won’t be able to beat a team like Cleveland no matter who they have pitching. And that’s a problem they haven’t addressed.
