Innovative technologies are revolutionizing dialogue marketing

The term KI basically refers to automation through intelligent, adaptive software. It not only makes it possible to carry out specified processes over and over again but also to further develop one’s own abilities.

AI encounters us in everyday life amazingly often, usually without us noticing. For example, in the form of the Facebook Newsfeed algorithm that filters content. Furthermore, in the background on websites where we book trips and shopping or when we search for photos stored on the smartphone for keywords.

How to place an AI in everyday life is demonstrated by the German startup Inspora. An AI in the person of a virtual fashion consultant who gives her tips via Facebook Messenger. The AI database is first fed with the contents of the wardrobe and the user’s fashion preferences. Subsequently, Inspora can be asked by chat for recommendations for specific occasions, such as the business lunch at noon. In addition to offering online shopping portals, the AI also uses the outfits of fashion influencers for advice.

Conclusion: be honest — the term “artificial intelligence” sounds woody and gives us a certain discomfort. Should machines really get so much power? There is no doubt that the role of AI in our society must be discussed. At the same time, however, available potential should already be exploited and translated into meaningful products. Inspora is a great example, the startup should be on the radar!

Virtual reality

To enter the VR world, the user has to put on a headset that covers 90 percent of the face. At first, this sounds relatively hostile to dialogue and still causes astonished faces in everyday life. Nevertheless, Virtual Reality offers enormous potential also in the field of dialogue marketing. Because VR allows a human dream, teleport!

Thanks to the technology, users can go to any virtual place at the push of a button to meet face to face with conversation partners. Here is worth a little look into the future. The Facebook Research Lab is researching photorealistic 3D avatars. A technology that makes it possible to transfer the facial expressions under the VR glasses in real time to the virtual face in Virtual Reality. This is what a VR conversation looks like with this technology:

Conclusion: Social interactions between users take virtual reality experiences to a new level. Currently, such meetings still take place in the form of comic avatars. The Hamburg startup NOYS VR, for example, enables the collective enjoyment of concerts for several people at the same time.

Thanks to better and better technology, these experiences become more and more realistic and therefore more immersive. Huge potential for personalized dialogue marketing.

Three examples that show how innovative technologies can be used in dialogue marketing. Appetite for innovation? Then get together in small agile teams, develop prototypes, test them, learn and actively shape the future in your business!
