Oh gosh. We share similar names, but I come from a complete opposite background. I’ve been programming and building websites since I was 8 years old. Learning more about design is my current focus.

I wish more designers had your mindset. It’s frustrating for everyone involved in a project when a beautiful design is created, approved by the client, and then lands back on the designer’s desk with lots of feedback from the developers about what’s not realistic given the scope of the project or the deadline(s). How are designers supposed to know about all of the limitations or potential pitfalls of their designs without some development experience themselves?
