The Scrum Creed (Ecumenical Version)

Yes, we do have the Manifesto, but if we want to be the true believers, we definitely need a creed. Here is a rough draft:

I believe in Agile, the Process Almighty, creator of products and apps.
I believe in Scrum, his only Method, our Framework; who was conceived by Takeuchi and Nonaka, born of Sutherland and Schwaber, tried and refined at Individual, Inc., Fidelity Investments, and IDX (now GE Medical); was presented, published, and adopted; he descended to the Scrum Alliance.
In 2009, Scrum rose again; he ascended into Scrum.org, is seated at the right hand of the Agile Manifesto, and will come again to guide the software shops.
I believe in the Product Owner, the Scrum Master, the co-located Development Team, the Sprint, the Daily Stand-up, the Product Backlog, the Artifact Transparency, the Definition of Done, and the Scrum of Scrums.
Amen.

Feel free to recite it at the beginning of your daily stand-ups. (Singing R.E.M.’s Losing My Religion at the end is optional.)
