Harnessing ChatGPT for Data Analysis: My First Tests
In the rapidly evolving data and digital landscape, Artificial Intelligence is increasingly becoming an indispensable tool for businesses, especially in the realm of data analysis. One such AI model is ChatGPT, a Large Language Model (LLM) developed by OpenAI, known for its impressive text generation capabilities. As an enthusiast of data analysis, I embarked on a journey to explore how such language models can improve data analysis, specifically in the context of a real business.
The Creation of “Data to Large Language Models” Functionality
To understand the capabilities of ChatGPT in data analysis, I developed a functionality that I’ve called Data to Large Language Models (Data-to-LLM). This was integrated into a data analytics platform I created for a business owner of a vocal coaching school.
The goal was to automatically feed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the coaching school database to ChatGPT and request its interpretation of these data points. The focus was on automating monthly diagnostics and recommendations for key KPIs, such as lesson volume and revenue.
