What’s next for Shipitwise?
Revolutionising European logistics supply-chain

Shipitwise has just successfully raised third investment round. While building strategic partnerships have proved time-consuming, keeping the trust and support of their investors is important to us.
Next, we’ve planned to start a cross channel advertising, to start targeting customers directly. We believe that by using a Google Adwords campaigns we’ll be able to increase our traction at a faster pace. This will also help us determine in which European regions we’re able to provide most monetary value, as well as discover the “Golden Routes” which will influence our pricing strategies immensely.
We’ve also started to test a trial-partnership with KIWI.com, one of the fastest growing flight search engines, serves almost 7000 customers daily. They cater to the low cost airlines market, which means customers are constantly facing double check-ins and they’d love avoid this hassle. They’ve already loved our team’s attitude, the great customer support and the high quality of communication they’ve received.
All the major courier companies failed either in the first or last mile of the test. This made both companies realise that even the best service providers in Europe are not good enough to service these platforms. Shipitwise and KIWI.com also found that these companies are not able to provide a convenient service at the affordable price. This came as a major shock to Shipitwise, meaning that they are facing a serious challenge.
Shipitwise is planning to overcome this challenge by building their European supply-chain from scratch. As challenging as this sounds, it opens up new possibilities and a completely revolutionised way of thinking. They have started communications with both international courier companies as well as local service providers with fast and reliable service such as Taxify, various food delivery services and peer-to-peer shipping platforms to fulfil the first mile of their service.
Shipitwise’s major competitors are saying that it is impossible to automate these processes. However, Shipitwise believes there is a way to do it and took the challenge to prove them wrong.
