Great post, Ben!
I like the story about St. Peter — I think it’s going to haunt me too.
The last 10 years of you life? Impressive! I would NOT say you were a police officer (I just can’t imagine you being scary and serious at all, sorry man!).
My biggest fear, as a creative person, has always been a fear of rejection. You put your soul into something and then you put it out there hoping people are going to love it. You’re vulnerable. They don’t always love it, but I learned to see it as a journey, a way for me to grow as a person.
This fear also shows in my personal life, I think it’s strong because I’m a creative.
A fear of success is real as well. Like, what will I do with all those money?
No, joking! The fear of success being I’m afraid if I can handle it if/when it happens. Am I big enough person/leader/professional? Will I have a personal life? Or do I have to chose between family and a career? You know exactly what I’m talking about.
