I assume, just by reading your text, you are a black guy. In Brazil, poverty don’t choose color, don’t choose gender. Poverty smashes the biggest part of the society and everybody has to struggle to get out of it.

I’m a white guy, I’m not racist. In fact, love black people, love the culture, love their beauty (before starting the conclusions, I have to say my wife is a beautiful black lady). And if you ask her about racism, she will tell you it doesn’t exist here, she has never suffered anything related to it (although it exists, in a minor scale) but if you ask me about how life is hard here, I just can't describe the complexity of it…
