They all think that primary education can be handled solely by the states, but history has proven it does not work equally well for all that way. Uniform standards in education is the key to every child getting the same education as the next. I know first hand how moving from one state to another can hurt a child in school when there are no uniform standards. It happened to me. I had to fight my way back to top grades for years after having switched schools from on state to another where the materials and teaching was much harder in the state we moved to. No one in government really looks at it from the child’s point of view, and that is just as important as anything else.
