Motherboard
The Motherboard is the main circuit board, that allows for communication to happen between crucial components such as: CPU, and the memory. Components connected to the motherboard are CPU, RAM, Optical Drives(some computers still use them), Sound Cards, Storage Drives(HDD or SSD), and Graphics Card.
CPU (Central Processing Unit)
The CPU, a microprocessor that stores up to 100mb of data, is the brain of your computer. It processes inputs and outputs results. It follows instructions of computer software that tell it what data to process and would then deliver the output based on instructions.
