With the introduction of VisionPro, Apple entered officially in the new era of its User Interface style, the Glassmorphism.

In this story I’ll create a view modifier to add a touch of glassmorphism to your apps.

Glassmorphism

Glassmorphism is a design trend in user interface (UI) and graphic design that emerged in the early 2020s. It is characterized by a visual style that simulates frosted glass or blurred translucent materials, creating a sense of depth and realism in digital interfaces. Glassmorphism typically incorporates the following elements:

  • Translucent Surfaces: User interface elements, such as windows, panels, or cards, have a semi-transparent or frosted glass-like appearance, allowing users to see through them to some extent.
