Hard to take the rest of this post seriously with such inflammatory, unscientific and unfortunately, untrue critique. REST is most certainly NOT without precise specifications. You can read Roy Felding’s original thesis, as well as countless other books and guides that will explain REST. These will also explain to you why you might want a RESTful architecture, the benefits, and even potential pitfalls.

To call it “just a vague RESTful philosophy, prone to endless metaphysical debates” is just lazy.
