To Blog or Not To Blog
Aug 22, 2017 · 2 min read

I contemplated starting a personal blog for several years. Never happened.
It didn’t seem worth the time. Until now, when it feels like I want to share my thoughts. So, who am I, really?
As any social being, I play multiple roles in my life.
- I am a father to two very bright sons who are in their twenties, and to a beautiful, smart teenage daughter.
- I am a son, a brother, and an uncle in an amazing family.
- I am a friend to a few really wonderful people who have been there for me in good times and bad.
- I am a founder and CEO of a startup, building “the next big thing” with some really talented and dedicated people who believed in me and took the risk.
- I am a technology and business enthusiast, always learning and challenging myself to grow professionally.
- I am a sports fan, driven to learn new skills, push my body, and grow both physically and mentally.
- I am an intellectual, trying to develop myself into a better being.
And
- I am me. Feeling, thinking, laughing and crying. Experiencing this life and myself in it.
All of these “personas” of mine have gone through decades of development, and now that I feel my experience and knowledge are worth sharing, I offer it to you.
I don’t pretend to know everything, nor do I expect you to accept my opinion, but I will certainly share my views.
Enjoy this blog.
Alex
