New Project (or just another waste of precious time) : my Movies (a name, anyone?)

Just another project to apply some interesting technologies.

I watch a lot of movies and TV Series; while for TV Series I use a wonderful app named TV Show Tracker 2, I just needed a simple app (or web-app) to keep track of the movies I’ve seen (yes, I need to get a life). Well, I decided to do it by myself: not that there isn’t anything available on the market, but there isn’t anything that I am really happy about.

So, that’s about it: myMovies ( and let me repeat again: does anyone has a better name? ).

Features aren’t yet clear to me, but I’m sure I’ll be using JavaScript on the client side and Java or PHP (shame on me!) on the Server Side. Plus, there are some libraries I want to be playing around since their last updates:

jQuery 2, Bootstap 3.2, Font Awesome 4, Backbone JS, Underscore JS, Require JS and Symfony (on the PHP part).

I’d like the app to be social-oriented, fresh-looking and awesometacular (no, I didn’t come up with this word, you can check here ).
