Confessions of a Christian College Student
Real thoughts from real students.
There are at least 970 Christian Colleges in the United States, and every semester, a whole new batch of students are enrolled. Going to a Christian College can bring on stereotypes: rich, elitist, prude, conservative, etc. What everyone needs to remember, though, is that these are young adults that are still having their minds shaped. Just because a person shares different religious beliefs than you doesn’t mean that they “aren’t as cool,” or that they aren’t having sinful (see: normal) thoughts. I used Whisper to help get a feel of what’s really going on inside a few Christian College students’ heads. Here are the results.

These types of Whispers seem to be the norm for everyone that’s posting about being a Christian College student. Everything seems to be questioning what’s “right” or not, whether that’s related to partying and sex or even questioning their beliefs. Everyone wants to feel “normal,” and that’s what you expect from young adults. Still, for every Whisper that seems to be anti-Christian College (or at least anti-attending Christian College because people don’t know who they are yet), there are those out there that provide the opposite views.

Moral of the story: you can’t be ashamed of who you are, no matter where you are. Everyone will always have their secrets, and that’s why we have Whisper.
