Exactly. At the end of the day, most of the technologies Slack introduces aren’t particularly revolutionary (it’s basically IRC). Slack is unique because it’s the first chat tool to be adopted across every function of an organization. In the post, I conflate the concept of Slack with the idea of a chat powered office (like Github).
