I love this question. My first gut reaction was to go with Minnesota. Younger core, higher ceilings. The big question with them is if they can improve defensively, and now with Thibs at the helm, their defense should improve.

On the other hand, the Jazz are already solid on defense, and getting Exum back should only make them even more formidable defensively (hope his knee recovered well). The Jazz’s issue is offense, though. If Exum, Hood, and Lyles can develop consistent, strong perimeter shooting, the Jazz could be really dangerous. Until then, they’re just a really good defensive team that may not be able to make the leap to truly great.
