To piggyback on this suggestion, at one point in the article, it is said that computational resources are accessed through the kernel followed by a hypervisor followed by the hardware. While this is true in some configurations, most computers are not configured this way. In fact, this is only the case when a “hardware hypervisor” is being used. This is a hypervisor that sits between the kernel and the hardware.
