A Gentle Guide to Responses

When I REALLY, REALLY connect to a story enough that I want to interact with the writer (via the RESPONSE button. I’m no stalker, yo.), 99% of the time I hit the button as soon as I finish reading, and in doing so, forget all about the recommend heart.

Most of the time, these days anyway, I remember to go back after and click it then. I used to almost NEVER do that.

It wasn’t intentional, obviously. I’m not going to go spurting love goo all over your comment section if I didn’t find the story totally heart-worthy.

Just a little info from someone who is and has been guilty of one of the least savory acts you touched on in this piece, letting you know I’m workin' on it. ☺

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
