Nazareth, Israel

--

The city where Jesus was born, and became known as “Jesus of Nazareth”. Although Jesus was born a long time ago, the city itself has been around since the prehistoric period according to archeological records. Jewish people inhabited and do inhabit the city to this day, but it has since diminished in its Jewish population. Today, the city’s population is mainly made of Arab citizens.

If you were to enter the city, you would notice many things. The most notable is how high upon the mountains it is. The scenery of the Jordan valley below is absolutely stunning. If you ever get a chance to visit the city, you will be able to visit Winston Churchill park that overlooks the whole valley. If the visibility is high enough, one may be able to observe Jordan.
