Hi everyone! My name is Alex Clifford. I believe that user experience (UX) is the most important part of a company’s success. Whether it be designing tangible experiential software or intangible systems that drive customer engagement with a particular product or service, UX is at the core of a company’s success and profitability.

All software (and also hardware) is migrating toward experiential, and I do not see this migration ending anytime soon. Every business in our economy needs to shift and adapt. People no longer want to do remedial daily tasks each day simply for the sake of getting them done. We want to do our chores in specific ways that make us feel good about doing them. The company that creates those enjoyable experiences for the customer will engage more customers and ultimately find greater profitability than competitors.

Successful business is increasing less about what you do and increasing more about how you do it — And this trend is not slowing down. While it is important that the product or service that your business provides is something you find interesting, what is far more important is that the user experience is one customers love and one that catalyzes engagement. UX should be prioritized by all customer-driven businesses because UX is what makes a company succeed — it’s not what you do, it’s how you do it.

Incredible user experiences lead to success and your never going to enjoy your business if your not successful — so let’s make UX our highest priority
