The Terror, Unleashed

This is a very bad sign.

To start with, this article describes “Donald Trump running the US Government as if it was an episode of Celebrity Apprentice” SO EXACTLY I very much wonder if the article is true at all. Axios is, as far as I can tell, a legitimate business, it seems unlikely the story is pure fiction.

It’s possible that the story was made up by one of their sources; I doubt Axios attempted to contact any of the people in this article as to whether this is a document describing the actual plans.

It’s possible that either Jared Kushner or Ivanka Trump is the source for this story. At least on Twitter, a good portion of the Washington press corps jokes constantly about this scenario. This could all be a giant spectacle constructed to appease The Donald.

Note: Reality TV of the 2000s

Survivor — 16–20 people stranded in a natural environment. Every few days, they engage in competitions and then vote one person out of the game.

The Amazing Race — Teams of two travel around the world, completing various interesting-to-watch challenges. The slowest team is eliminated.

American Idol — People sing on television. The American public votes people out.

The Apprentice — People compete in “business-themed” challenges. Donald Trump picks somebody he doesn’t like and eliminates them.
