This is a really touching piece. The fear, anger and sorrow felt across the globe is a comforting reaction assuring us that this will not be the new normal. There are too many good and kind people who desire their love to be reflected in their communities. Charlie Chaplain’s ending monologue in The Great Dictator assures us that these moments are “but the passing of greed.” We must have the courage to confront greed everyday.
