Thank you for this article! A Bronx Tale has been coming on cable a lot lately and I wonder about Mr. Brancato sometimes, how he’s adjusting to life. I wish him nothing but the best.

It’s unfortunate that none of his critics would speak with you. One question I would’ve love answered…what do they (his critics) expect him (Brancato) to do? It seems he’s trying to be a productive member of society and has left his past behind. He’s even trying to help others avoid the same mistakes. While he can never bring back Mr. Enchautegui, is the guy supposed to hide under a rock forever? While I agree he may not completely understand the weight of his involvement (that comment about him being his “angel” was tasteless), I don’t understand the animosity and condemnation about him trying to do better for himself.
