A+ tips to survive Chemistry 1 at UF

As a public relations major, I love my classes at the University of Florida. But don’t be fooled, college was not always this enjoyable. One thing that many people don’t know about me is that I began my college career as a dietetics major. For this field of study, I had to take many science classes, the first of which (cue dramatic music) was Chemistry 1.

The class didn’t go so well for me, and I barely passed with a C. Though I didn’t learn much about chemistry, I did learn how to somehow pass the class. Combining my experience with the interview responses of former Chemistry 1 students, I have formulated this list — my gift to you, budding chemists — of A+ tips to survive chemistry at UF.
