I hate to say it, but I’ll say it anyways. I think our presidential election and the choices we have, except for one, are a true sign of our country’s age. As far as civilizations, we are considered a teenage punk country compared to everyone else. Right now we are going through “growing pains.” If this is the country I know and served proudly, we will make the right choice come election time [fingers crossed]. I think it’s amazing how Bernie Sanders is the guy who is scolding United States citizens out of their complacency. When he says, (paraphrasing) “We need to join the rest of the industrialized world.” I take it as a senior figure grabbing us by the ear and leading us to where we should be. You know who else was a leading figure like this?: Dwight D Eisenhower [raising roof with right hand saying, “Thought you knew.”] Eisenhower taxed the rich way more than Bernie Sanders would. If we were to take a step back and compare the two, it would be difficult for the people in “Merica” to say that General Eisenhower was a “Lib-Tard.”

I’m scratching my head here and don’t understand the complacent ignorance of some of our citizens. Honestly, I don’t think it’s their fault; it’s complicated. I mean, some of my best adult friends like to play with matchbox cars — “vroom-vroom,” but that doesn’t make them idiots. I think we all just want to be left alone to play with our toys and live life.

Our government should work for all of us. Have we forgotten this simple fact? I can tell you what, with the way our citizens are responding to all this madness, I have one thing to say to our political establishment: “You gonna learn today!”
